Shariah Capital undertakes selective Shariah consulting and advisory mandates.  Our assignments include identifying and enlisting appropriately-qualified Islamic jurists to provide initial and on-going Shariah supervision to projects that range from screening portfolios to building multi-product investment management platforms.. Typically, we work with financial institutions and their legal council to develop Shariah compliant versions of conventional financial investment products.  This process involves outlining base guidelines of Shariah compliance, reviewing drafts of product documentation, establishing internal compliance-related processes and procedures, and addressing the inevitable challenges of specific product solutions.
